I wander why wont Asus updates Z77 boards with such nice software!?

I’d rather have it installing cleanly and not having to hack some files and what not!

I am also having same mobo Asus z 77vlx and win 10 os. tried from 4 different setup’s but no luck..
it is giving me incompatibility error while running setup. so please tell me where to download the compatible setup package and which version can be used in my system.

I am also having same mobo Asus z 77vlx and win 10 os. tried from 4 different setup’s but no luck..

I do not have a z77 motherboard anymore so I cannot test it. But seems that latest tutorial by «Slider» works properly. Give it a try. (search it on page 16)

Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

Do they have a version of AI Suite 3 for my motherboard yet? I have the Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 MB. If so where can I find or get it? Its not on the Asus site on my MB’s support page for driver updates.

I’m considering upgrading my P8Z68-V to Win10. Do you thing these instructions for the P8Z77 would work for the P8Z68? I really only care about fan control. Or should I just rely on setting the fan curve in BIOS?

Install ASUS Ai Suite 3 ver. 1.01.02 for ASUS M/B P8Z77-V DELUXE under Windows 10.

00-Uninstall existing Ai Suite TOTALLY.

I installed 1.01.02 without an issue but when I click on «Fan Xpert 2» I get a violation error relating to dip4.dll

Anyone have an idea?

AI Suite II v2.04.01 (Combo-5)

«Archival» light repack of the II-nd line with «must have» components only. Windows 8.1 compatible.
There was no intrusion (no any updates) inside collected utilities. Last known files from the II-nd line were used. So, original files still there.

ATTENTION: This version is not compatible with Win10. It’s just an archive of 2-nd line.
Any case, use AI Suite III repack for installation, please.

Version 3.00.13 of ASUS AI Suite 3 now available

I see that the new release is out now. Haven’t tried it yet. Not sure if you need to do the full uninstall and clean before trying this new version.

ASUS AI Suite 3
Fix compatibility issue between the latest Windows 10 update KB4056892.

— AI Suite 3 v3.00.13
— Dual Intelligent Processors 5 v1.05.13

I installed it right over my old version. No cleaner, just ran the new installer and a quick reboot. It fires right up. I have to say that it did take a while to install. So give it a few minutes. Don’t expect the installation UI to open up immediately. Looks like some new features too, like a PC Cleaner and side menu.

Well, Fan Xpert3 is pretty much useless. All of my fans are 4pin PWM fans. And all tuned perfectly on the old Fan Xpert. The only fans I can really control now are the CPU fans. Xtreme Quiet is gone.

All of the others are stuck at 60% and you can’t select the RPM Fix Mode. And you can’t select or change the fan locations. Tried tuning several times. No luck.

When I try to enable the Turbo App, I get an «Abnormal Program Termination» error message.

If you still want to use AI Suite, a workaround is to copy and edit one of the fan profiles in C:\ProgramData\ASUS\DIP\FanXpert\Profiles\. x values store temp. y values store the duty cycle from 0 to 255. 255 = 100%. The red no-go zone remains at 60% and I don’t know how to lower it, BUT the fans work as normal even if the graphs look. odd. Just be careful not to save over the edited profile with Xpert3. It’ll reset the changes.

Update:
Since all my fans have similar characteristics anyway, I duplicated the fan key 0 section (CPU fan) in DIP\FanXpert\FanCalibrationData.xml for the other fans. Made the xml structure look like https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea. ite-3&p=502397. Now I can adjust settings within Xpert3 and load and save profiles.

btw, my mate has a RVE 10 and AI suite is bugged for him, too. I don’t know where his profiles and calibration data is stored.

Windows 10 just update for Meltdown vulnerability and. OC *****d up. as well as motherbord, CPU or even graphics.

Things I done for try to restablish good OC situation and stability:
1) Uninstall AI Suite3 (old version wich worked perfectly) + CCleaner + AI Cleaner + multiple reboot between operation
2) Uninstall GPU Tweak 2 (old version wich worked perfectly) + CCleaner + reboot.
3) Verify posible hints of previous installations (registery, c:/ folders etc. )
4) Install AI Suite 3 v3.00.13 + reboot
5) 5-way auto optimisation (same OC as the old version, that good) + fan tunning with Xpert3 + reboot
6) Install GPU Tweak 2 v 1.6.0.5 (same OC as the old version, that good) + reboot

Up to there it’s ok, but I figured out amny problems:

1) AI Suite force Windows to use «Power balanced» plan for power management at reboot
-> do GPU and CPU voltage change (like when eco mode)
->> resolution, delete «Power balanced» et «Eco» plan.

hi guys,
i have a impact vi and win10
i`d installed ai suite 3 for win 10 from impact z97 download.
it wor fine but i don`t have any uninstaller in my pc..

i want to uninstall «push notice».. what i have to do?

AI Suite 3. how to completely uninstall?

So I just upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 and guess what? *AI Suite won’t work. I’ve decided to uninstall and go with hardware control of fans. So sad.*
The problem is with AI Suite 3, you never REALLY uninstall it, do you? *There are pieces of all over my new OS. It seems to even be affecting my BIOS.

So please, how to get rid of this terrible piece of software for good? *Thank you.

Ive been having big problems with AI Suite III on my X99-A ii system with windows 10 64bit installed. It gives me random blue screen at log in and when I try to run the 5 way optimization, I get access violation errors at random parts of the process that prevent it from proceeding. I do wish Asus would finally address these issues. They are pesky and prevent my system from utilizing these great tools.

Don’t hold your breath. Contacted support 3 weeks ago. Still no response. Awful.*

Update: The Intel MEI station drivers appear to have made a difference. My board is Maximus VII Hero Z87 chipset with 4790K Devils Canyon at 4.6Ghz, I will report again in 24 hours but no crashes since last night and normally I would have had a few crashes by now from the Dipawaymode like everyone else.

From what I can tell this is a Windows 10 issue which the updated station drivers should fix.

Update: Installing the Intel MEI drivers ended the Dipawaymode crashes completely. I now have a hardware related crash occasionally but no mention of anything related to Asus, just nonspecific windows hardware crash not nearly so often as before. I have reinstalled AI Suite using the Windows 7 compatibility option. No crashes since last night and machine is left on 24/7. I’ll report back later on this Windows 7 setting.

Update: Windows 7 compatibility didn’t seem to make a difference because I’m still getting a once a day crash sometime after 5PM but I have investigated this. After looking at the reliability report I keep seeing Windows updates are being installed during these so called crashes. Apparently this is a common problem related to Windows updates and automatic restarts which always occur when the machine is idle, I’m never around when these so called crashes occur. I have tracked this down to an auto update setting that relates to updates called the Update Orchestrator in the Task Scheduler which I have disabled. I’ll have to test this setting again for 24 hours then report back with my results.

Please to anyone reporting back here after installing the new Intel MEI drivers and disabling Update Orchestrator in order to end the
dipawaymode AI Suite related crashes and to fix the Windows update issue with it’s insanely stupid random reboots while you are away.

Update: Absolutely zero crashes over the weekend, no reboots no nothing since disabling the Update Orchestrator, machine is on 24-7. Some kind of glitch there with Windows Updates and automatic reboots «crashes» which I don’t see on my other machines so I assume this was maybe AI Suite software related. Do not bother uninstalling the AI Suite software, instead you should reinstall the software then install the Intel MEI drivers and disable the Update Orchestrator then run the AI Suite again for fan and CPU tuning.

I’m going to declare that the AI Suite crash issue is now solved. If you want to run the AI Suite then you should first install the Intel MEI drivers then disable the Update Orchestrator per the directions in the link.

Update: 10 more days zero crashes, the problem is certainly solved. There are no issues at all with the AI Suite software besides what was reported and fixed here. Using new bios 3103.
