Epson GT-20000 Архивная модель
EPSON GT-20000 обеспечивает очень высокую для своего класса скорость сканирования. При использовании дополнительного устройства подачи документов он сканирует до 23 страниц в минуту в монохромном и 15 страниц в минуту в цветном режиме (формат А4, разрешение 200 dpi). При работе «со стекла», без автоподачи, сканирование листа А4 в монохромном режиме выполняется менее чем за 5 секунд.
Сканер оборудован интерфейсами USB 2.0 Hi-Speed и SCSI. Кроме того, у него есть разъем расширения, куда можно установить плату IEEE-1394 (FireWire) или сетевую плату Ethernet.
Использование в сети (модель GT-20000NPro или опция)
Установив в слот расширения опциональную сетевую плату, пользователь может подключить сканер непосредственно в локальную сеть. Это позволяет выполнять сканирование с любого сетевого компьютера.
CCD-матрица
В сканере используется новая четырехлинейная CCD матрица, обеспечивающая разрешение 600 точек на дюйм. Дополнительно к традиционным линейкам RGB, она содержит четвертую линейку, предназначенную для монохромного (одно или восьмибитного) сканирования. Это обеспечивает повышенную скорость сканирования монохромных оригиналов.
Автоматическое определение размера документа
EPSON GT-20000 оборудован датчиком определения размера оригинала, работающим как при сканировании «со стекла», так и при использовании устройства автоматической подачи документа. Теперь пользователю необязательно выполнять предварительное сканирование, чтобы определить область захвата изображения или вручную выбирать размер документа. Благодаря этому увеличивается производительность сканера и уменьшается вероятность ошибок.

Создание файлов PDF с поиском по структуре документа
Файлы PDF с возможностью поиска по структуре документа (sPDF) представляют собой изображение с сохранением текста документа в отдельном слое, что позволяет осуществлять быстрый поиск текста как если бы это был обычный текстовый документ.
В документе sPDF можно также устанавливать собственные индексы для быстрого поиска.
Улучшение отображения текста
Данная функция улучшает точность распознавания текста при сканировании, так как устраняет задний фон документа и отображает символы с повышенной резкостью. Данная функция доступна только для черно-белого сканирования.
Преимуществом для пользователей является то, что можно сканировать документы с низким разрешением и, соответственно высокой скоростью, с неизменно высоким качеством отображения мелкого и плохо разборчивого текста.
Выборочное сканирование цветов RGB
Выборочное сканирование цветов RGB – специальная функция, которая позволяет не учитывать какой-либо из цветов в процессе сканирования. Даная функция может быть использована для удаления цветного фона документов или цветных фрагментов. При помощи сканера GT-20000 можно исключать при сканировании красный, зеленый или синий цвета.
Автоматическое выравнивание изображения
У драйвера данного сканера есть возможность определять, если документ был отсканирован не ровно. При включенной функции, драйвер будет выравнивать изображение в соответствии с уровнем текста слева направо. Данная функция полезна при распознавании текстов и штрих-кодов.
Сканер GT-20000 поддерживает автоматическое выравнивание изображения как при сканировании с планшета, так и из автоподатчика документов.
Потоковое создание файлов PDF
Потоковое создание файлов PDF позволяет создавать один или несколько файлов PDF уже в процессе сканирования.
Можно создавать файлы PDF длиной в одну или несколько страниц, используя автоматический податчик документов или планшет сканера.
Например, у Вас есть договор, состоящий из 5 страниц, который нужно отсканировать. Раньше при сканировании в PDF, каждая из страниц была бы отсканирована в собственный файл и в итоге Вы получили бы 5 файлов PDF, в каждом из которых была бы одна страница документа. Теперь можно заранее устанавливать длину файла PDF и получить один документ длиной в 5 страниц. Это упрощает документооборот в компании и снижает время на поиск нужной информации.
Редактирование файлов PDF
При сканировании в файл PDF, пользователь может переворачивать, удалять или менять порядок страниц документа, просто перетаскивая их при помощи мыши на нужное место.
Создание защищенных файлов PDF
EpsonScan 3.4 поддерживает установку защиты файлов PDF. Можно устанавливать пароли за открытие и редактирование документа для предотвращения неправомерного доступа к документам. Запрещать осуществление определенных операций с документом (печать документа, извлечение данных из документа, редактирование, добавление комментариев и добавление/удаление страниц).
Автоматическое определение типа изображения
Автоматическое определение типа изображения позволяет делать изображения при сканировании в оттенках серого более четким, а распознавание текста более простым так как сканер автоматически определяет где текст, а где рисунок.
Данная функция доступна, когда выбрано черно-белое сканирование.
Использование данной технологии дает максимальный результат при смешанном содержании документа (рисунки и текст).
