Page could not be loaded please try again later windows store

App Store: «Try that again Page could not be loaded. Please try again later.»

HELP! I AM connected to the internet and I have a very strong connection. My Google Chrome works absolutely fine when I tried to search something, but the Microsoft Store app isn’t working. This is very strange because it has never happened to me before. In fact, Microsoft have a new logo so it might be bugs and slow-downs. The codes are above, help me please! But my question to you is: How do I fix this?

The list of things I’ve tried:

Restarting my laptop

Refreshing my laptop

Closed the Store and opened it again

Troubleshooted problems for WiFi

Checked www.fast.com and I have a really good connection!

Turned my WiFi off and back on again

If you know ANYTHING, please help me

Start by running the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Open Start > Settings > Update & security > Troubleshoot
Scroll down to the bottom
Click Windows Store Apps

Click Run the troubleshooter

When complete try opening the Store again.

Also check if the Store works in another user account.

Press Windows key + R
Type: wsreset.exe
Hit Enter

Do this a couple times then try launching the Store again.

Your Antivirus might be interfering with the Store, try disabling it ‘temporarily’ to see if it launches.

Check Windows Update and install the latest updates. Sometimes Microsoft releases infrastructure fixes for the Store through Windows Update.

You can also try resetting the store app using the following instructions:

1. Press Windows Key + X on the keyboard and then select “Command Prompt (Admin)” from the menu.

2. Stop the BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer and the Windows Update Services. To do this, type the following commands at a command prompt. Press the “ENTER” key after you type each command.

net stop msiserver

3. Now rename the SoftwareDistribution and Catroot2 folder. You can do this by typing the following commands in the Command Prompt. Press the “ENTER” key after you type each command.

ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

4. Now, let’s restart the BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer and the Windows Update Services. Typethe following commands in the Command Prompt for this. Press the ENTER key after you type each command.

net start wuauserv

net start cryptSvc

net start msiserver

5. Type Exit in the Command Prompt to close it and then restart the computer.

After reinstalling my laptop I cannot enter the Minecraft page in the windows store. I receive the following error:

«Page could not be loaded. Please try again later.»

I have not installed any antivirus that could potentially influence this.

I don’t have any proxies set.

I have run wsreset.exe

I have run SFC /SCANNOW

I have run «DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth»

. and «DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth»

I have also runt the windows troubleshooter for store, no difference

Region and language is set to «United States»

I have deleted all files and folder contained in «C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache»

Still no difference. Everything works just fine on my other PC, but not on this PC.

Hi Joel. I’m Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Try running the Windows Store apps Troubleshooter at Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

If that fails go to Settings>Apps and highlight Microsoft Store, choose Advanced Settings, then Reset. After it resets, restart PC.

If that fails then Try running the Windows Store apps Troubleshooter at Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

If that fails go to Settings>Apps and highlight Microsoft Store, choose Advanced Settings, then Reset. After it resets, restart PC.

If that fails then reinstall Store. Type CMD in Start Search, right click Command Prompt result to Run as Administrator, copy the following code and paste it into the box using the Edit tools from Box’s top left dropdown menu, press Enter:

If these all fail then go over this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki.

Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.

If nothing else works then do a Repair Install, by installing Media Creation Tool and then choosing to Upgrade Now. This reinstalls Windows while keeping files, programs and most settings in place, and is also the most stable method to advance to the latest version. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it’s resolved.

well I had the same issue. All you have to do is go to the «PROXY SETTINGS» and » TURN OFF » the » USE PROXY SERVER » option. Your App store will work with out any issues. Same thing applies for the Xbox Live App.

I have upgraded windows 10 from windows 7. I am using Dell 5110N laptop with amd radeon graphics, intel i3, 6 gb ram and 500gb hard disk. after upgrading to windows 10, I am facing problems with App Store. Whenever I open store, either It keeps on loading for a very long time and then automatically shuts down or it says » The server stumbled» «page could not be loaded. please try again later» and then shuts down. I have tried to open store more than 100 times after I upgraded but everytime its says the same thing and shuts down. Please fix the problem as soon as possible.

Check if your time is correct or not. Go to settings and check if your time zone is correct and turn off and on «Set Time Automatically». It will correct time and may fix problem

Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard an Independent Advisor and a Windows fan like you. I’ll be happy to help you out today.

Actually I have the same problem and by following the steps below fixed my issue, I know some of these steps already done, you have just skip it if you think it will have the same result.

Method 1. Repair Windows Store:

1. Go to settings> Update and Security> troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooter> Then click Windows Store apps
2. Temporarily Disable the Anti-virus (If you have third party anti viru)
3. Run Powershell
4. On Powershell(admin), copy and paste the command below:

Method 2. repair Windows Store and update components

Open Powershell with Admin or CMD with Admin (Press Windows key + X then click Windows Powershell(Admin))
Copy each line of command to Powershell then press enter (one line at a time)
net stop bits
net stop wuauserv
net stop appidsvc
net stop cryptsvc
Del «%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\*.*»
rmdir %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution /S /Q
rmdir %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 /S /Q
regsvr32.exe /s atl.dll
regsvr32.exe /s urlmon.dll
regsvr32.exe /s mshtml.dll
netsh winsock reset
netsh winsock reset proxy
net start bits
net start wuauserv
net start appidsvc
net start cryptsvc

-Once done restart the device and check

If none will work from the above solution I suggest to do an in-place upgrade wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Note: before doing this make sure to create a restore point: https://support.microsoft.com/en-hk/help/402753.

2. Select Download tool, and select Run. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.

3. On the License terms page, if you accept the license terms, select Accept.

4. On the What do you want to do? page, select Upgrade this PC now, and then select Next.

5. After downloading and installing, it should fix the issue.

Reference: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo.
Note: if you receive error: “This Pc can’t be upgrade, follow the steps below”
Method 1. Go to C:\$WINDOWS.

BT\Sources\Panther then delete the file name compatscancache.dat
Then try again or reboot the PC first then try again.
You might not see the folder as it is hidden, make sure to show hidden files first.

Let me know how does it goes and I hope that helps.
