Can not activate Windows 10 shows error 0x803fa067

I tried to activate windows 10 pro but after entering activation key and pressing the activate button a pop up showed saying,»we can’t activate windows on this device because you don’t have a valid digital license 0xc004c003″ with the error code 0x803fa067
I am using a licence windows copy.

I clicked on change product key and entered Windows 10 Pro using the following default product key:

please help only way is to pay and get upgraded?

1. I would edit out that key you posted. We cannot verify its authenticity. You will need to contact Microsoft to verify your code.

I notice the key you sent is the same i posted here before.

Error still the same

Tried restart PC and entered again.Still same.

Saw the below screen after entering key and then error after clicking start.

Yes. There is no free upgrade to Pro. You were misleaded by someone.

Thanks for responding.However, i noticed many you videos for which actually this is working.

I am wondering how microsoft use this change product key option if there is no such feature to upgrade.

Probably because i am using digital licence and trying to change via product key.Was there any other way around to get upgrade for free? i believe we shouldn’t be charged or buying new packs for every edition upgrade.

You dont have an actual digital license or key so try this:

1. Go to Action Center (looks like a chat box on the lower right hand side of the taskbar) > Click airplane mode > activate it to go offline

3. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Change Product Key. From there insert the Generic Key located in the following link: https://winaero.com/blog/generic-key-to-install.

4. This should activate the machine, restart it, and re-enter the key you need.

You are running a non-genuine license. You need to purchase a genuine license.

Whoever installed it, might have installed a volume license (organization key) on your computer.

Windows 10 Pro volume license clients are used by large organizations that deploy Windows 10 in bulk to hundreds or thousands of computers. Sometimes, users will copy these organization keys off the Internet and use them to install Windows 10 Pro, but they are blocked from activating because it can’t reach appropriate KMS host (Server computer) which handles the activation request.

Windows 10 activation error 0x803FA067

I have issue trying to reactivate windows 10 after changing to a new pc.

Try to force Windows 10 to activate, follow the steps below:

1. Open the Start Menu and search for Command Prompt (Run as Admin).

2. Type the command

3. Press Enter, wait a few minutes and reboot your PC.

4. Check if the issue persist.

Fix the Windows corruption errors with DISM & SFC tools.

This will help you to repair the Windows 10 system files and check for any issues, follow these steps below:

1. Open the Start menu, in the Search box type cmd or command prompt.

2. Right-click on the command prompt and select Run as Administrator.

3. When you Open it type the following command & press Enter:

Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth

Be patient until DISM repairs component store. When the operation is completed, (you should be informed that the component store corruption was repaired), give this command and press Enter:

4. When SFC scan is completed, restart your computer.

5. Check if the issue persist.

Try to perform a Repair Install of Windows using the Media Creation Tool

1. Grab the media creation tool here:

2. Found the MediaCreationTool.exe and double-click it

3. Select Create installation media for another PC.

4. Select ISO file and click Next.

6. Open the Windows ISO file you downloaded.

10. Click Accept. Be prepared to wait awhile. This next part may take a while.

11. Click Install. Again, this will take a moment while your system restarts.

Note: You can choose to keep your files if you want.

12. Wait for your system to restart and install Windows 10.

13. When it finishes, check if the issue persist.

In case these solutions didn’t work, you can try to activate your Windows using the Chat Support, follow the steps below

1. Press Windows key + R to Open the Run dialog box.

2. Type slui and press Enter

3. This action will launch the activation wizard. Select your country or region and click Next.

Note: At the Installation ID screen, you will be prompted to call the number listed on the screen. If you have an active Internet connection, you can use the new chat option.

a. Click the Start button and head to All Apps > Contact Support.

b. Click Services & Apps then click Windows.

c. Click Setting up then click Chat online with a Microsoft Answer Tech.

d. Follow the on screen steps

Note: You need to provide the Installation ID generated earlier in the activation wizard.

Windows wont activate 0x803fa067

I have a windows license and I tried to activate it on my pc. (completely fresh install from usb). When I try to activate it says that they can’t activate windows on this device because I dont have a valid license or product key. Then when I try to fix problems it gives the error code 0x803fa067.

This error basicly says I should just go to the microsoft store and buy a new key. Anyone knows how I can still activate my own key?

Is this a first time install and do you have a product key to activate that installation?

It is not a first time install, I uded the pc for 2 years with unlinced version of windows.

I purchased it at TresBizz. So third party (A friend ordered there aswell and that worked, seems legit)

The product key matches the installation. both windows 10 home

The site likely sold you an MSDN key that has been resold and exhausted:

In your case, what probably happened is, you bought an MSDN licensed key, which carries up to 10 activations unlike full packaged retail licenses which only carry 1 activation. The person who sold it to you probably sold it to 10 other persons. Somewhere along the way, one of those persons might have installed it on a second system, activated it, because it went past 10 activation threshold, Microsoft detected it that it was being abused and blocked the key from further use.

You are right, you should only purchase keys directly from Microsoft or Amazon (NOT the marketplace section).

If you are able to purchase a genuine Windows 10 Home license, you can then update product key values and activate.

Click Start > Settings > Update & security > Activation > Change the product key then enter the new product key then click Next to Activate
