Removing a Proxy Virus (127.0.0.1:8080)
I’ve tried so many times to remove this proxy server from my computer. But failed.
Here is my internet Properties Screenshot. But LAN settings is disabled.

So please help me how can i remove it from my computer without reinstalling new OS.

The issue with the proxy settings is persisting on my computer too.
I can tell you a fix but cannot assure the solution is permanent. The solution completely is based on registry editing. You can open Registry editor using the run command and typing ‘regedit’ in the box.
Find the keys in registry with the following names in the folders mentioned below.
Proxyenable————-change value to 0,
Proxysettingsperuser————change value to 1
connection settings————change value to 0
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel
You are free to use the internet now. But once you restart your computer, there is a possibility that the proxy settings might reset. I am also trying to get my hands on a permanent fix for the issue. Hope I can find it soon.

I also had the problem of this reseting after a restart.
After trying multiple antivirus and malware cleaners. I found Adwcleaner to be the most useful. It removed PUP.Optional.PrxySvrRST, which solved my proxy problem and was undetected by other malware cleaners.

sir, the simple way is that you need to run your default browser in administrator mode.
this way all browsers and internet settings will provide you with administrator privileges.
and going to internet settings and resetting the network settings will surely help.
it worked with me.
also you can go to LAN settings and simply disable the use of a manual proxy.

Our current Windows 8/IE10 tablets apply a group policy which sets up the IE proxy configuration and prevents users from changing that configuration.
This is done using the settings «Prevent changing proxy settings» and «Disable changing automatic configuration settings» (located at computer configuration\administrative templates\windows components\internet explorer).
With Windows 8.1/IE11, the proxy server settings are still greyed out in the LAN settings dialog box under Internet Options\Connections in the desktop IE environment.
Is there any way to lock this down?

When I said I was going to post it here, the engineer said to make sure I started with the statement that Binary registry keys as used in this solution shouldn’t generally be messed about with, and that editing the registry without first backing it up may also lead to plagues of locusts, etc. All the usual disclaimers, so use this at your own risk.
His solution, which we’ve tested, involves switching from per-user proxy settings to per-machine proxy settings.
The Microsoft workaround word for word is:
The first thing we need to do is to export the following registry key from a machine that has the correct proxy settings set.
This contains the following 2 binary registry keys which have the connections settings: “DefaultConnectionSettings” and “SavedLegacySettings”
From: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections
To: HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections
The final steps as discussed we need the following policy applied:

We have the following values:
Based on the MS solution, we created a startup script which writes the registry keys “ HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections\DefaultConnectionSettings” and HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections\SavedLegacySettings”.
There is some logic in the script so that once the keys are written once, the script does not attempt to write them again.
This works correctly and the settings will hold, sometimes for several days.
However every so often something happens which causes the contents of these keys to be overwritten.
We have proved that the two binary keys are being overwritten by the registry settings which are held within the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Internet Settings area – the AutoconfigURL, ProxyServer and ProxyEnable values. (This was proved by putting obviously nonsense settings in this area. When the problem next occurred, the values visible in the user interface, which had been correct, now showed these nonsense settings).
We have worked around this by setting autoconfigURL, proxyserver and proxyenable values under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings to be the correct values so when it does overwrite it just rewrites what was there already.
(We still haven’t worked out exactly what triggers this overwrite, and we can’t reproduce it – we have tried the following steps:

По поиску нашел много тем с этой задачей, но все равно понимание до конца не пришло! Решил спросить по своему.
Банальная! Есть прокси сервер. Надо его указать во всех браузерах, через групповую политику, чтобы пользователи ходили через проксю!
Везде установлен Windows 2008R2.
Последний раз приходилось настраивать эти параметры еще на 2003 Server. А тут полез в GPO на 2008R2 и не нашел того чего ожидал! А именно, где в групповой политике теперь задаются параметры для прокси сервера?
Поэтому хотелось вариант без предпочтений GPO типа как раньше было на 2003!
Как в современных реалиях эта простая задачка решается?

Но к минусу этого метода я, я указал, отношу то, что если это было к кому-то применено и надо у человека отключить прокси, то все эти ключи не восстанавливаются к значениям по умолчанию (что были до применения политики) и надо вручную исправлять
Ну так выпустите своего счастливца мимо прокси на конкретной задаче, и не отключайте прокси вовсе. Настроили и забыли про него. Чем собсвтенно третий метод и хорош- и недоменным машинам раздаст параметры и прочим погремушкам. Но не все, увы умеют в WPAD, отсюда и пряски с политиками.
Есть 3 концептуальных подхода к решению задачи:
1) GPO c ADMX шаблонами и правками онных для Вашей версии IE
К плюсам можно отнести относительную простоту настройки, галочки и подписанные поля выглядят лучше чем ключи реестра
К минусам можно отнести то что для того что бы метод заработал нужно нормально пот. ться с тем что бы шаблоны начали нормально работать + под каждый IE на который применяется политика нужно пилить свою настройку пусть она даже на 90% такая же как соседняя (например для IE9, IE10, IE11 будет 3 настройки)
3) Настройка через файл + автоопределение настроек.
К плюсам данного метода относится простота настройки клиентов и возможность менять настройки незаметно для пользователей
К минусам данного метода можно отнести факт написания и отладки файла (у меня за 5 минут рабочий файл накидать не получилось, но возможно у Вас получится)
